Dear Sir and Madam,

The high resolution room pressure controller VCP with volume flow limitation offers fast and prioritised regulation of room supply and exhaust air volume flows. The internal secondary control circuit ensures constant pressure regulation. In multitasking operation, the microprocessor-controlled VCP provides a uniform room pressure in laboratories (S1–S3), clean rooms (classes A–D), stables and interlocks.

A high-speed control algorithm compares the set point value with the measured actual value of a static differential pressure transmitter. It then regulates the air volume flow independent to the pressure variations in the duct system. A second internal control circuit quickly and reliably ensures that the preset room pressure is controlled via a further control flap equipped with actuator and mounted in the bypass.

The volumetric flow is varied within parameterisable limits (Vmin and Vmax) until the desired room pressure can be controlled.
This allows the parameterised constant room under- or overpressure to be maintained and stored securely against
power failure in the EEPROM. This also eliminates the need for overflows or a door gap.

Other features:

Stable and highly precise regulation based on the bypass principle and hysteresis-free actuator (direct drive mode)
Highly precise resolution ensures maximum control accuracy and room pressure stability, even with high air exchange rates and in closed spaces
The true multitasking operation of two automatic control circuits (pre-regulation and fine adjustment) with just one controller ensures the stability and quality of control. Until now, this could only be achieved with pneumatic controllers.
Connection to the central building control system and reduction of the amount of cabling needed through BACnet, LON or Modbus
Alarm relay automatically signals the recorded differences in measured actual values from the set point value
