Dear Sir and Madam,
Large halls which are up to ten metres high are not easy to air-condition.
When cooling, draughts must be avoided. When heating, a large depth of penetration
is required, in order to quickly heat up the floor area as well.
The IDA ceiling outlet, which is installed flush with the ceiling, achieves both – fast,
effective heating and draught-free cooling. When heating, the
inlet can be adjusted either electrically or manually so that a highly
compact supply air jet is released vertically, deeply
penetrating the room. When cooling, the supply air is
released horizontally, thereby effectively reducing the speed
and temperature difference. The result: fast and draught-free air conditioning.

In Zurich’s Brandschenkenstraße, the heritage-protected
former post office has been elaborately renovated. Today, among other
businesses, it houses the popular location “Jade” – a
restaurant by day and a club by night. See here,
how IDA has been used to blend in with the sophisticated design. Further
