Dear Sir and Madam,

Save space while improving performance!
SCHAKO has added a new model to its Piano range of sound-damped volumetric flow controllers. Like all other Piano models, not only is it easier to mount in constricted installation locations (e.g. false ceilings) thanks to its short design and low overall height, this new model can also be controlled pneumatically as well as electrically. With a connection for rectangular ducts compliant with DIN 24190 or an adapter to connect to spiral pipes compliant with DIN 24145, the Piano is a versatile unit. Its maximum clear flow cross-section reduces pressure losses and minimises flow-generated noise.

Other features:

Pneumatically controlled: feed pressure 1.3 bar +/–0.1 bar, control pressure 0.1–1.0 bar: zero pressure can be set for “CLOSED” or “OPEN”.
Forced control on Vmin, Vmax or “CLOSED”.
Constant or variable volumetric-flow, room- or duct-pressure control.
Can be used as of a static pressure difference of 20 Pa, which means the duct system can be designed for low
air velocities.
Larger clear flow cross-section compared with 90°
damper blades.
Controllers are preset at the factory, doing away with the need for complicated adjustments on the construction site.
Optimised aerodynamic flow characteristics mean there is no need for inflow and outflow sections.

Best regards
