With the MAK/MAS membrane absorber, SCHAKO offers you a sound absorber with a smooth surface all over. This makes the MAK/MAS interesting even for ventilation lines with a large amount of dust/dirt.

The membrane absorber is available in 2 versions:

• as MAK in silencer design in which the silencers are hermetically sealed from their environment and nothing apart from sound can penetrate the silencers, which are made entirely of aluminium, and
  
• as MAS in background design, the gap size of which is
  50–100 mm (the MAK silencers are integrated into a
  duct section).

Membrane absorbers are highly resistant to chemical and mechanical stresses and withstand internal pressure of up to
1000 Pa. The outer walls consist of aluminium perforated sheet membrane film with a membrane film covering. The inner chambers are made of honeycomb aluminium carrier plates.
The duct is made of 1.0–1.5 mm aluminium with connecting flange (Metu HM30 profile).
