Dear Sir and Madam,
We present you two innovative Schako products in the August edition of the Schako newsletter: the ceiling induction diffuser DISA for cooling and the DISA-HT for cooling and heating. Both systems use the advantages of the medium water for room air conditioning. Using DISA and DISA-HT, you have an optimum room climate and on the other hand you reduce your energy costs.
Best regards,

Ceiling induction diffuser DISA
Water cooling for an optimum room climate
DISA was developed for removing high thermal loads from air-conditioned rooms. It combines the supply of necessary, processed fresh air (primary air) with the advantages of energetic load removal by the medium water.
The low overall height of the ceiling induction diffuser DISA is especially suitable for low heights of intermediate ceilings in new buildings and for installing it in rehabilitated buildings.
In the primary distribution channel, nozzles are collocated. The number of active nozzles DISA -... A, B, C, D can be varied and thus, the volume of the primary supply air can be adjusted optimally.
By reducing the proportion of primary air to a necessary minimum, the energy costs are reduced. The primary supply air is mixed with cooled secondary air and supplied to the room without any draught via one or two air diffusers optimized from the ventilation point of view.
The ceiling induction diffuser DISA is used as 2-conductor system for cooling.
Overview of the advantages:
- Removal of high thermal loads possible
- The height of the air channel system is reduced to a minimum due to the low supply of primary air
- Reduction of the operating costs due to low primary air volume
- Improvement of the thermal environment in the room
- Individual adjustment of the primary air volume by means of the nozzle configuration A, B, C, D
- Suitable for all standard ceiling grids

Ceiling induction diffuser DISA-HT
Cooling and heating
DISA-HT disposes of a 4-conductor system for the connection of cold and hot water. The separation of the supply and return circuit saves energy.
An example: If the room temperature is low in the morning, the air can be heated via the heat exchange system. If the temperature increases in the afternoon, it is cooled down using the cooling register. In both cases, the water needs not to be cooled or heated in all tubes - consequently, less energy is required.
The air is supplied without any draught to the room via one or two air diffusers optimized from the ventilation point of view.
DISA-HT is also especially suitable for low heights of intermediate ceilings in new buildings or for installing it in rehabilitated buildings due to its low overall height. In the primary distribution channel, nozzles are collocated.
The number of active nozzles DISA-HT -... A, B, C, D can be varied and thus, the volume of the primary supply air can be adjusted optimally. By reducing the proportion of primary air to a necessary minimum, the energy costs are reduced. The ceiling induction diffuser DISA-HT is used as 4-conductor system for
cooling and heating.
Overview of the advantages:
- Separate cool and hot water circuit (4-conductor system)
- Removal of high thermal loads possible
- The height of the air channel system is reduced to a minimum due to the low supply of primary air
- Reduction of the operating costs due to low primary air volume
- Improvement of the thermal environment in the room
- Individual adjustment of the primary air volume by means of the nozzle configuration A, B, C, D
- Suitable for all standard ceiling grids
